are three open-air swimming pools in Madrid, one Olympic-sized, one for children and
one intermediate. Piscinas Casa de Campo gets very crowded at weekends but are fairly
quiet during the week. At certain times they are
closed off for OAPs or particular activities, so it's best to call
beforehand to make sure they are open. Facilities at Piscinas Casa de Campo also include
changing rooms, cafés and sunbathing areas. Topless sunbathing is
allowed, and there is an informal gay area.
