  • La Vieja Estacion is one of the outdoor nightclubs in Madrid and and best in summer. La Vieja Estacion is a vast terrace complex with no fewer than 10 bars, a restaurant, salsa rooms and an open-air dance-floor.

    The decorative scheme is Middle Eastern, with huge pyramid lights, pillars and wicker chairs, with plenty of quiet corners for more intimate moments. La Vieja Estacion is right next to Atocha station, so it's handy for the bridge and tunnel crowd.

    The beautiful setting attracts an equally beautiful crowd, and the door staff are refreshingly pleasant. The clientele is local and savvy, and the outdoor venue puts everyone in a carefree holiday mood. There's a karaoke section, too, but don't let this put you off.
